Description
Paul Mescal and Francesca Corio star in this drama from debut filmmaker Charlotte Wells. Gazing at home video footage, Sophie (Celia Rowlson-Hall) recalls a holiday in Turkey with her father (Mescal) 20 years earlier, but the tenuous link between memory and truth is called into question. As Sophie struggles to reconcile her memories with the reality of her father's existence, aspects of her father that were known and unknown, she also must come to terms with her own identity and the desire to better understand herself.
