Description
Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons star in this black comedy directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. With the help of his impressionable cousin Don (Aidan Delbis), beekeeper and conspiracy theorist Teddy Gatz (Plemons) kidnaps Michelle Fuller (Stone), the CEO of a high-profile pharmaceutical company. He believes that she is an alien who has disguised herself as a human in order to bring about the destruction of the planet.
While she is confined in their basement, Michelle attempts to threaten, appease and bargain with Teddy, but he does not believe anything she says. As the days pass and Teddy becomes increasingly volatile, will he get the answers he seeks? The cast also includes Alicia Silverstone and Stavros Halkias.
