Description
Melissa Barrera stars as the eponymous character in this reimagining of Bizet's opera of the same name. After her mother is killed, Carmen flees north, hoping to cross the border from Mexico into Texas and make her way to Los Angeles to find her mother's friend, Masilda (Rossy de Palma). When she runs into Aidan (Paul Mescal), and his border patrol, another act of violence forces the two of them to go on the run together.
