In 1980s Connecticut, the pair come to the aid of Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi O'Connor), a young man who claims to have been possessed by a demonic spirit and is accused of murdering his landlord. Believing the Johnson family was cursed by a witch, the Warrens are tested to their limits as they set out to prove their theory while attempting to convince the court of Arne's innocence.
