Description
Alla Kovgan directs this documentary about American dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham. Renowned for his collaborations with composer and life partner John Cage, Cunningham refused to be pigeonholed into one genre, instead opting to cross multiple genres in his work. In this documentary, film-maker Alla Kovgan looks at some of his best known works and examines the thought processes behind them.
