Description
Construction engineer Frank Raftis (Robert De Niro) meets graphic designer Molly Gilmore (Meryl Streep) while doing last-minute Christmas shopping in New York City, and without realising it, the pair manage to mix up their gift packages. When they run into each other again, many months later on a Manhattan-Westchester commuter train, Frank and Molly laugh about the incident and strike up a friendship. Over the coming months they get to know each other better, and despite the fact that they are both married, a love-affair starts to develop.
