Description
A Chicago medical student (Kiefer Sutherland), fascinated by reports of near-death experiences, decides to try it himself. In secret, his colleagues put him under anaesthetic, stop his heart and then bring him back to life. The experiment proves successful and each of the friends try it in turn, but as time moves on the memories of their experiences in limbo begin to invade their waking lives in the form of terrifying hallucinations.
