About the artist

Gypsy is a progressive/hard rock band from Leicester, East Midlands, England, United Kingdom, that was formed in 1965 under the name Legay. In 1968, the band changed its name to Gypsy. Not to be confused with Gypsy from South East England, Gypsy from Yorkshire and the Humber, Gypsy from the USA and Gipsy, also from the United Kingdom (which was misspelled as Gypsy on its only appearance in physical format).

Gypsy played a mixture of styles largely inspired by American West Coast and Southern rock.
