Description

Australian fantasy thriller directed by Simon Wincer. Nick and Sandra Rast (David Hemmings and Carmen Duncan)'s young son Alex (Mark Spain) is suffering with terminal leukaemia and they will do anything to help him. When they come across benevolent faith healer Gregory Wolfe (Robert Powell), Sandra is impressed by his abilities and is eager to keep him around.

However, Nick is soon to be running for senator and his mentor Doc Wheelan (Broderick Crawford) doesn't approve of Wolfe, setting up a power struggle which causes the healer to behave in a most unexpected way...
