Description
Jeff Bridges, Jessica Lange and Charles Grodin star in this remake of the adventure classic from director John Guillermin. Oil executive Fred Wilson (Grodin) sees the chance to make his fortune when he stumbles upon a remote island whose inhabitants worship a giant ape-god named Kong. Capturing the mighty beast, Wilson brings Kong back to New York, earmarking him as the greatest attraction to come to Broadway.
The ape has other ideas, however, as he looks to escape and goes on the rampage through the streets of the Big Apple.
