Description
Mike Figgis writes and directs this drama starring Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue. Alcoholic screenwriter Ben Sanderson (Cage), upon deciding he has nothing left to live for after losing his job, travels to Las Vegas to drink himself into an early grave. When he meets prostitute Sera (Shue) however, an affair built of mutual respect for privacy leaves him contemplating his decisions.
When his health deteriorates, Sera encourages Ben to seek help, but as he refuses, he puts both of their lives on a downward spiral.
