Movie

Japanese martial arts fantasy action directed by Kinji Fukasaku. After her family is slain by the evil Hikita Clan, Princess Shizu (Hiroko Yakushimaru) flees to avoid the same fate. She crosses paths with the warrier monk Dosetsu (Sonny Chiba) who shares the legend of the curse upon her family with her and reveals that eight samurai are destined to break the curse together.

He and his companion are two of the eight but they must find the others if they are to defeat Tamazusa (Mari Natsuki), the leader of the Hikita Clan. However, when the vagabond Shinbei (Hiroyuki Sanada) learns of Princess Shizu's identity, he means to betray her to Tamazusa...
