Description
Larry Peerce directs this drama starring Barbara Barrie, Bernie Hamilton and Richard Mulligan. After Julie (Barrie)'s husband Joe (Mulligan) abandons her and their young baby, she faces a life as a single parent, that is until she meets Frank (Hamilton). What begins as companionship soon develops into romance, but their relationship is shrouded in controversy as Julie is white and Frank is black.
When Joe returns seeking sole custody of his daughter on the grounds of Julie's interracial relationship, it is left to the court to decide what is best for the child.
