Morgan Neville directs this animated documentary which chronicles the life and career of musician and producer Pharrell Williams in Lego form. Williams has synaesthesia and sees colours in music. As his passion for music grows, he is desperate to make his own music but must battle to do so.
His work with artists including Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake brings success but it is 'Get Lucky', his collaboration with Daft Punk, and the song 'Happy' from the 'Despicable Me 2' (2013) soundtrack, which propel him to international stardom. The voice talents of Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and N.O.R.E. also feature.
