Description
Dennis Quaid stars as the eponymous actor and politician in this drama directed by Sean McNamara. After Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan comes to the attention of the Soviet Union, KGB agent Viktor Petrovich (Jon Voight) is sent to surveil him. Years later, Petrovich reflects on Reagan's life from his childhood in Illinois to his time as a lifeguard and actor and then his move into politics.
After his first marriage to Jane Wyman (Mena Suvari) fails, he later meets and marries Nancy Davis (Penelope Ann Miller) and in 1981, he becomes President of the United States. Meanwhile, tensions escalate between America and the Soviet Union and Reagan publicly brands the country an evil empire. The cast also includes Kevin Dillon, Xander Berkeley and Robert Davi.
