Description
Sam Peckinpah directs this 1960s Western starring Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea. Grizzled cowboys Gil Westrum (Scott) and Steve Judd (McCrea) are charged with bringing a shipment of gold to a bank in Hornitos, California. Westrum wants the gold for himself, but faces stern opposition from former lawman Judd.
However, the duo are forced to put their differences aside when they rescue a young girl from an arranged marriage and a dangerous family of miners.
