Description
Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner star in this romantic comedy adventure directed by Robert Zemeckis. Successful but lonely romance novelist Joan Wilder (Turner) finds her stories coming to life when her sister Elaine (Mary Ellen Trainor) is kidnapped by smugglers searching for a priceless emerald called El Corazón. As she travels to Colombia to save her sister, she meets bird hunter Jack T.
Colton (Douglas) and the two are pursued through the jungle by the kidnappers as they attempt to save Elaine and locate the jewel. The cast also includes Danny DeVito, Zack Norman and Alfonso Arau.
