Description

Pilot episode of the British sci-fi adventure which has been restored and is now presented in 4K ultra high definition and 5.1 surround sound. Set in the future in the year 1999, John Koenig (Martin Landau) travels to the Moon where he is due to become the new commander of Moonbase Alpha. However, when uncontained nuclear waste stored on the far side of the moon combusts, the 311 citizens of Moonbase Alpha, including Koenig, find their home catapulted into outer space.

The cast also includes Barbara Bain, Barry Morse and Prentis Hancock.
