Danny Boyle returns to direct this sequel to the critically acclaimed 1995 film starring Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller. Following on two decades after the end of 'Trainspotting', the film sees Mark 'Rent Boy' Renton (McGregor) return to Scotland in search of his old friends Simon 'Sick Boy' Williamson (Miller) and Daniel 'Spud' Murphy (Ewan Bremner).
