Description

Léa Seydoux and George MacKay star in this sci-fi drama from film-maker Bertrand Bonello. In the year 2044, artificial intelligence has taken over much of the world's jobs, with AI considered to be far more efficient than humankind due to the complex emotions of human beings. A DNA purification method, which induces past life regression in its subject, allows humans to go back in time to resolve the trauma of their past lives and slowly destroy their capacity to feel.

Gabrielle (Seydoux) has made the decision to undergo the procedure to find purpose and direction in her working life, but when she falls in love, will she truly be willing to erase her past?
