Description
Riccardo Freda directs this 1960s American horror set in 1885 London. Dr Hichcock (Robert Flemyng) has been carrying out his sordid necrophiliac practices on his wife, Margaretha (Maria Teresa Vianello) when one day he accidentally causes her to die from an overdose. After burying her and abandoning his house, he returns seven years later remarried to his new wife, Cynthia (Barbara Steele), who begins to observe strange-goings on within the home alongside her husband's own increasingly odd behaviour.
