Tomoyo Harada stars in this Japanese coming-of-age drama directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi. After the death of her father, high school student Mari Katsuragi (Harada) is desperate to visit New Caledonia because he promised her that one day they would visit the island closest to heaven - which he claimed to have found there - together. As she searches for the place he dreamily recollected to her, aided by locals and other Japanese tourists, will she find what she is looking for?
