Description

Robert Duvall, Karen Black and Joe Don Baker star in this crime drama directed by John Flynn. When thief Earl Macklin (Duvall) is released after a 27-month stint in prison, he discovers that his brother has been killed by a criminal group known as the Outfit. Earl and his brother once robbed a bank they own and now they want to kill Earl too.

However, Earl is determined to avenge his brother, with a little help from his girlfriend Bett (Black) and best friend Cody (Baker). As they continue to evade the hitmen on their trail, they raid a number of the Outfit's operations, leaving crime boss Mailer (Robert Ryan) desperate to see Earl dead. The cast also includes Timothy Carey, Richard Jaeckel and Bill McKinney.
