Description
Tony Hancock stars in this British satirical comedy written by Alan Simpson and Ray Galton. Anthony Hancock (Hancock) is a frustrated city clerk who dreams of becoming a successful artist. Taking a chance on fame and fortune, he gives up his job and travels to Paris.
When another artist's work is mistaken for his, he is acclaimed as a genius, but he soon finds himself paying the price of celebrity. Paul Massie, Irene Handl and George Sanders also star.
