Description
Douglas Hickox directs this war drama starring Burt Lancaster and Peter O'Toole depicting the 1879 battle of Isandlhwana. With diplomatic errors and ill-advised military decisions leading to a confrontation between 1,500 British soldiers and a 25,000-strong Zulu army, the battle quickly becomes one of the worst defeats in British colonial history.
